daily
All quantities stated on this page refer to this daily serving of three capsules.
Shortly after breakfast
Take the three capsules whole with plenty of water, preferably immediately after breakfast.
With a little fat in your meal
Vitamins A, D, E and K are fat-soluble. A breakfast containing a little fat, such as nuts, yoghurt or bread with a spread, is therefore a good accompaniment.
As part of a regular routine
Keep the jar where you have breakfast. This way, taking them will quickly become a habit. One jar contains 30 daily servings.
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of young children.

Diet first
Those who eat a varied diet are well supplied with most vitamins and minerals. A multivitamin is no substitute for a balanced diet, but it can supplement it where this is not always possible in everyday life.
Where shortfalls are more common
In the Second National Nutrition Survey (2005 to 2007), many adults did not meet the recommended intakes for folate and vitamin D through their diet. The body also produces vitamin D itself when exposed to sunlight. According to the Robert Koch Institute, an adequate intake of iodine is not guaranteed for everyone either.
Specific life circumstances
People who eat vegan, have little variety on their plate, eat less in old age or are often on the go are more likely to run short of individual nutrients. For a vegan diet, the German Nutrition Society (DGE) explicitly recommends supplementing vitamin B12.
Broad-spectrum versus targeted
A multivitamin combines many nutrients in a fixed formulation. If a specific deficiency has been diagnosed in your case, a single-ingredient supplement in the appropriate dose is often the better choice. It is best to discuss this with your doctor.
Dosage explained
To help you understand the quantities correctly, here are the key points at a glance.
Vitamin D3 and K2 are already included
Three capsules contain 60 µg of vitamin D3 (2,400 IU) and 60 µg of vitamin K2. You should therefore only take additional vitamin D3 or K2 supplements after consulting your doctor.
BfR proposed maximum levels
The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) proposes maximum levels per daily dose for food supplements. Our formula is above these for several nutrients: vitamins A, D, K and B6, folic acid, zinc, iodine and selenium. The proposals are not legally binding. They do show, however, that you should not take these nutrients additionally via other supplements. BfR proposed maximum levels
Do not double up
Before combining supplements, check what your other supplements contain. Avoid taking any further zinc-containing supplements while taking this one, unless recommended by a doctor. There are also overlaps, for example, with B vitamins and vitamin B6.

Background
A few terms to help when reading labels.
Water-soluble or fat-soluble
B vitamins and vitamin C are water-soluble, while vitamins A, D, E and K are fat-soluble. How long the body stores them varies depending on the vitamin. Even water-soluble vitamins can have undesirable effects if consumed in excess. It is therefore worth adding up all sources.
Compounds and elemental content
Minerals are always found in compounds. 576 mg of calcium citrate provides 121 mg of calcium, while 371 mg of magnesium citrate provides 59.3 mg of magnesium. When comparing with reference values, it is the elemental content that counts.
Folate and folic acid
Folate is the umbrella term for the forms that occur naturally in foods such as green leafy vegetables or pulses. Folic acid is a synthetically produced form of the vitamin. Folic acid and other authorised folate compounds are used in food supplements.
What is lutein?
Lutein is a yellow plant pigment belonging to the carotenoid group and is found, for example, in kale, spinach and egg yolk. There is no nutrient reference value for lutein, nor are there any authorised health claims.
Added value in everyday life
A breakfast that you prepare the night before. Oat flakes, linseeds and walnuts provide a bit of fat, while the berries add freshness. Afterwards, you can quickly take the three capsules.

According to the recommended daily intake, take three capsules daily, whole, with plenty of water shortly after breakfast. This ensures you take the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K with a meal.
No. All quantities in the table and text apply to the daily serving of three capsules. One jar contains 90 capsules, i.e. 30 daily servings.
Simply take three capsules as usual the next day. Do not make up for a missed dose, and you should not take more than three capsules a day.
If you eat a varied diet, you’ll be well supplied with many nutrients. A multivitamin can be useful if your everyday diet isn’t always balanced or if you’re missing out on entire food groups. If you suspect a deficiency, it’s best to have this checked by a doctor. Then you can take targeted supplements.
Iron is not added to our formula. It is best to take iron supplements only when a deficiency has been medically diagnosed.
Yes, the formula and capsule shell are vegan. On a vegan diet, a reliably planned vitamin B12 supplementation is necessary. Do not rely solely on the 3.6 µg of vitamin B12 in this multivitamin for this. Which supplementation suits you can be assessed on the basis of your diet, your health situation and, where appropriate, suitable tests.
Add up the quantities of all supplements. The multivitamin already contains, amongst other things, vitamins A, D3 and K2, B vitamins, zinc, iodine and selenium. It is best to only take further supplements containing these nutrients after consulting your doctor; you should avoid taking any additional zinc supplements altogether without medical advice.
We do not recommend this product for pregnant women. It contains 800 µg of vitamin A as retinyl acetate and niacin as nicotinamide in amounts that the BfR does not recommend for pregnant women. There are specially formulated supplements available for pregnancy and breastfeeding, for example containing folic acid and iodine. It is best to discuss the appropriate supplement with your doctor.
Three capsules contain 60 µg of vitamin K2. Vitamin K counteracts vitamin K antagonists such as phenprocoumon. If you are taking such medication, your vitamin K intake should be as consistent as possible. You should therefore only take the capsules after consulting your doctor.
Three capsules contain 200 µg of iodine and 60 µg of selenium. If you have a thyroid condition such as hyperthyroidism or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, or if you are taking thyroid medication, please discuss taking this product with your doctor beforehand.
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) can cause your urine to turn a bright yellow colour after taking it. This discolouration is normally harmless. If you notice unusual discolouration or experience any additional symptoms, please have the cause investigated.
Cultavit® is a buckwheat sprout powder containing eight B vitamins. During production, the sprouts grow in a nutrient-rich medium and absorb nutrients from it. The specific B vitamins contained are listed individually in the ingredients list; you can find the quantities in the nutritional table.
MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is a form of vitamin K2. We use the branded raw material K2VITAL® in its all-trans form. This is the molecular form that also occurs naturally in food.
The product is intended for adults. The dosage is not suitable for children or adolescents. The note on this reads: For adults; not recommended for pregnant women.
Store the jar tightly closed, away from light, in a cool, dry place, and check the best-before date on the base of the jar.
