What makes CDL2go special?
CDL2go is a ready-to-use chlorine dioxide solution with a stable concentration (approx. 0.3% or 3,000 ppm). Developed for optimal tolerability—pH-neutral, chlorine-free, without silver or chemical additives—and made exclusively from double-distilled water and the purest chlorine dioxide. No activation is required. Packaged in light-protected amber glass and a specially optimized filling technology ensure that the active ingredient content remains virtually constant even when stored unrefrigerated for 24 months (gas loss < 2%).

Instructions for use
Ideal for hygienic cleaning and water disinfection:
Drinking water treatment (e.g. when camping, in a motorhome, while traveling)
Cleaning drinking bottles, cutting boards, toothbrushes
Fruit and vegetable washing
Disinfection of surfaces in the home or for animal use (stables, cages, bowls)
Outdoor operations or emergency hygiene
Dosage: 20 drops ≈ 1 ml. Recommended dosage: 1–2 ml per liter of water (depending on the intended use).

Since 2015, chlorine dioxide production has been regulated by the EU Biocidal Products Regulation, which stipulates that only approved and certified production companies and facilities may legally manufacture and distribute this substance. However, it took until 2025 for legal clarity to emerge, as two producers in the EU have now been fully certified and approved solely for the production of ready-to-use chlorine dioxide solutions (CDS/CDL). Only one of these producers manufactures the high-purity solution for private use, and only those who purchase the chlorine dioxide solution from this producer and have it bottled there are still legally permitted to distribute the product throughout the EU. All other products and companies are not authorised for sale in the EU.

Unopened, CDL2go is stable for at least 24 months – even without refrigeration. Once opened, the solution should be stored cool (in the refrigerator) and tightly closed. This generally means it will last at least 6 to 9 months.
This corresponds to a concentration of 3,000 mg of chlorine dioxide per liter of solution—or 0.3%. This concentration is recognized as the standard for CDS/CDL ready-to-use solutions.

No. When stored and used properly, the solution is not a hazardous substance under EC directives and is not classified as dangerous goods under transport law (GGVS). It is also biodegradable.
