We only use the ripe acerola cherries for our high-quality powder - many other suppliers use unripe, still green fruits and argue with a supposedly higher vitamin C content. However, this is not confirmed in reality, since the ripe fruit has a demonstrably higher vitamin C content and the taste of the powder obtained from ripe fruit has a slightly sweet taste, whereas the powder from unripe fruit only tastes sour.
The acerola cherry powder is gently produced using the freeze-drying process. We only use 100% pure, high-quality acerola powder and no extract whatsoever! The fruits are gently dried and ground into a fine powder to guarantee a high-quality and purest product.
In contrast to ascorbic acid - the artificial vitamin C - natural vitamin C from fruits also supplies plant substances (so-called bioflavonoids). These natural antioxidants protect vitamin C against premature degradation and can also increase its effect many times over.
More and more studies show that bioflavonoids in their infinite variety can make a decisive contribution to maintaining and promoting health. It is therefore not necessary to take such large amounts of natural vitamin C to achieve the same effect as with artificial vitamin C, ascorbic acid.
